topic Using the Visualization Tool to generate an interrupt in CodeWarrior for MCU

Is there any way to use the Visualization Tool, particularily the switches, to generate an interrupt? I am currently trying to generate the IRQ_L interrupt using a switch. I understand the IRQ_L is the 2nd LSB of Port E. While I can modify this value using the switch, no interrupt occurs as far as I can tell. Any help would be greatly appreciated as the documentation on the Visualization Tool does not address interrupts. Thank you.

Andy

Thank you so much for the response. Is there a way to generate an interrupt using any of the components other than the IT_Keyboard? I'm still using an old version (4.6) as a teaching aid and it has the old components that version 5.0 does not.

I also meant to mention that I'm using the Simulator and Debugger and not actual hardware. Is there a way in the Simulator to generate an interrupt? (other than the IT_Keyboard component)
