Hi All,

I was trying to compile Lightning_demo_device project with some changes I made to lighting_demo_device.c file. My target is MC13192SARD loader and I am running on CW3.1 with the full 30 days license.

during compilation I get the following error:

Error : C5300: Limitation: code size 1389 > 1024 bytes

I am wondering if this is an issue with my CW or something else. I really have not made much changes to the lighting_demo_device.c, just added few lines to support SCI output along with the LED output.

I would appriciate any advice,

Hello

It looks like you are running the tools in demo mode.

Apparently you do not have a valid special edition license on your system.

The easiest way to come out of this situation would be for you to download the newest CodeWarrior for HC08 V5.0 special edition.

The special edition license is now included in the image and you do not need to download it separately.

For V3.1, after you have downloaded he software, you get an email from Metrowerks embeddedeval with instruction where to download the license file.
