headers not found

using the S08JM16 for a project with CW 10.1 running on Windows 7 64 bit

I have different directories setup in the project file. one for the application with the code in this directory.

a different directory for the real time monitor that I have developed and use as starting code for many projects.

this code in in the monitor_Lib directory. and was drag and dropped into the monitor_lib directory and option to have the code linked into the project.

The headers for the different files are in the Standard CW header folder.

the problem is that while I can select and open the header files, the compiler can not seem to find the header files.

any suggestion
