You are using CodeWarrior v10.1.8. In it, the connection information is stored differently in CodeWarrior projects. You need to import the old project into a v10.1.8 project to get the connection settings stored properly.

Hello all!

I installed CodeWarrior 10.1 recently, and, one of the most significant changes I have noticed is the Remote System configurations addition. As far I can see, when you create a new project, a Remote System Configuration is automatically created and stored to be used for that project (I work with Bareboard projects).

My problem appears each time I launch CodeWarrior 10.1. When it initializes, it always displays a warning like the following indicating that the Remote System of my project has changed.

I have verified it and there is not any change between the Project Value column and the Current Value one. I think it is not a big problem, but it is a bit annoying, because this window pops up for every project I have in the workspace each time I start CodeWarrior 10.1. Is it some kind of bug or something?

Going to the Merge Settings of the environment and configuring the Select how to handle differing RSE Systems to Discard the project cache, avoids the window to be displayed, but by default it will pop up always.

Thanks!

Hello,

Thanks for the answer!

I'm using CodeWarrior 10.1, I don't know if it is 10.1.8, it is the Special Edition: CodeWarrior for Microcontrollers (Eclipse, Windows hosted). But my problem is not only with the projects imported from older versions of CodeWarrior, it happens with all the new bareboard projects I create under CodeWarrior 10.1. I receive one warning per project I have in my workspace, and it is a bit annoying. Actually, there is not any difference between the Remote System configurations that the warning is displaying, I don't know why CodeWarrior thinks that the project has an outdated/different Remote System when it isn't.

Regards.

Hello, I have selected 'Create new RSE systems if needed' and 're-create RSE systems': this avoids that dialog at least for me.

BK

Thanks for the answer!

I selected the Discard the project cache option to avoid the dialog being displayed. But the question is, why does that dialog appear? Why CodeWarrior thinks that the RSE configuration of every project has changed (when it hasn't) every time CodeWarrior is initialized?

Thanks for your help.
