Best compiler for MPC5604P microcontroller

Hello ,

I have a licensed version of Codewarrior development studio for HCS12X v4.7. Now i need to do a project on MPC5604P micro. Can you please help me to know the best IDE to work on with MPC5604P family.

Also is there any patch for my existing IDE to work on MPC5604P micro?

Hi Firoz,

Freescale has CodeWarrior for MPC55xx/56xx v2.7 available here:

So if you used to work with CodeWarrior for S12 IDE it will be familiar to you.

Plus if you have valid standard or professional CodeWarrior suite license you can generate also license for CW for MPC55xx.

There are also other vendor tools e.g. GreenHills Multi, Diab,....
