Hi all,

Does anyone know where can I get flash programmer for S12X? I'm using CodeWarrior 5.0, but it doesn't have flash programmer. I need flash programmer to write my firmware to MCU without opening project on CodeWarrior. Thanks a lot.

Yes, I need Flash Programmer. I found one document that explain how Freescale has integrated a powerful Flash Programmer into the CodeWarrior IDE. But I can't find this feature in my CodeWarrior ( version is 5.0 special edition). Do you have any information about it?

It is still not clear what do you need. Certainly CW comes with builtin debugger/programmer software. Are you going to flash binary file to your MCU? Ten you can start debugger <CW root folder>/prog/hiwave.exe

I just looked at the CodeWarrior for HCS12(X) product matrix, and the Special Edition does support flash programming. You build your program for flash memory, hit debug, and CodeWarrior downloads and stores the program into flash automatically.

I just want a standalone flash programmer to write my program into MCU. I need to program the MCU on the production line. I don't want to use CW's debug feature to program it. I want to integrate the standalone flash program to my production line.

Cyclone is certainly true standalone programmer. If you mean standalone programmer software, then it's PROG12z, which works with both Cyclone and Multilink.
