License.dat file is present on CW directory. What can I do to make CW3.1 works again?

Emmanuel

Message Edited by BugMan on 2007-03-1212:33 PM

Do you have a key METROWKS_LICENSE_FILE in there? How is it initialized?

CrasyCat

Hello

So now I am assuming your V3.1 license file is located in your V3.1 installation root directory and your V5.1 license is located in your V5.1 root installation directory.

If this is correct, just open the System Properties, go to Advance Tab.

Then click on Environment variables and delete environment variable LM_LICENSE_FILE.

If this variable does not exist, the tools will look for the license file in their respective root installation directory and you should be safe.

¨

I hope this helps.

CrasyCat
