CW IDE version 5.7.0 querry regarding Device and Connection

Dear All
I am completely new to this MCU world and this CodeWarrior Appliction. The querry I do have is about the derivative we would like to use in device and connections in codewarrior(version 5.7.0). The device I would like to work on is S08EL family (or S08SL )(or even S08SG)..but unfortunately its not available in the device and connection options. Can anybody help me out with it??

Hello

Look at the CodeWarrior for HCS08 Update and Patched web page.

There is a service pack called "CodeWarrior for HC08 v5.1 - EL32 Service Pack ".

This package includes support for the MC9S08EL32, MC9S08EL16, MC9S08SL16, and MC9S08SL8 derivatives.

There is another service pack called "CodeWarrior for HC08 v5.1 - SG8/SH8 Service Pack "

This package includes support for the MC9S08SH8, MC9S08SH4, MC9S08SG8 and MC9S08SG4 derivatives.

Click here to go to the CodeWarrior for HC08 V5.1 update and patches web page.

Be careful. You need to run CodeWarrior for HC08 V5.1 to be able to install those patches.

To control which version of CodeWarrior for HC08 you are using:

    - Start CodeWarrior
    - Select Help -> About Freescale CodeWarrior
    - Click on "Install Products"
    - CodeWarrior version used is displayed on top in the Installed Products dialog.
