Hello,

I need help please. I'm lost with this issue for days.

I work with Windows 10 64bits. I try to connect and debug a board with a MPC5200B.

I've downloaded CodeWarrior MobileGT v9.2 I use the CodeWarrior USB Tap. Driver is libusb32 (tried many others).

I've tried with windows 8 64, Windows 7 64, Windows 7 32bits and even Ubuntu 14 =Always the same result.

CCS integrated with mobileGT v9.2 is unable to connect to USB tap

Except it detects some unknown devices on the JTAG chain. They does not exist on the JTAG chain!!! I've removed TDI and TDO pull up...

Do I need to do something else?

CodeWarrior MobileGT give this error :

And here is the setting :

I can connect to the board I need to debug with USBBlaster and TopJTAG

I've tried the USBTap withMPC5554EVB and USB tap is OK !

Any help will be very appreciated !

I use a ONCE USB Tap Probe! And it seems I need the CWH-CTP-BASE-HE probe ! I didn't know. Just saw it in this forum.

Just ordered the probe and waiting for it. But if someone could confirm this info... Could be great

Do you use Windows XP on your PC? CodeWarrior MGT 9.2 supports the MPC5121-5123-5125. This CodeWarrior uses USB TAP driver for using under Windows XP. This driver cannot works under Windows Vista or Windows 7.

Have in mind that this product is not recommended for new designs and support is very limited.

Thanks for your answer.
I'm working with Windows XP now. I've build a COP probe tip because they're not available!!

Here is the answer I have with any Windows version! CCS: Connection Refused. The tap has a static IP. It is pingable. I've checked it.

But I'm not able to produce a connection.

Do you have some tips?

Yes I've seen and tried to follow the hint of this thread. I've downloaded and installed this version of ccs and tried ccs from Codewarrior 11.1.
But still receive Connection Refused even in Console mode !

I'm stuck with that.

Ok, sorry to hear that.

I have no knowledge on how to solve this issue.

I can only recommend to move to actual devices as MPC5200B is not recommended for new designs.

@stanish do you have any clue what could be the issue here?

Thanks, I understand except in my case, moving to another mcu is not possible.

I have 10 boards equipped like that for the moment. And I need the JTAG access to them.

I still hope I 'll find a solution.

I've made a new probe TIP because JTAG/COP is still unavailable...
