Problem on Microsoft Windows 11: Compilation process hangs at the last C file in project

Hello,
I have installed the offline package "CodeWarrior™ Development Studio for Microcontrollers v11.1 Special Edition (Offline)" (CW_MCU_v11.1_b181224_SE_Offline.exe) on my Windows 11 computer. With all my projects (also with the sample projects installed) the compilation process of the last C-file in the project hangs. After a while (>2 min) the compilation process continues and is completed successfully. If I change a C-file and make another "build", this very long waiting time occurs again. What could be the reason for this?

Thanks for your post. Could you please let me know which chip do you use?

After installing CodeWarrior, have you installed the latest Update 4 and the corresponding device service pack?

CodeWarrior MCU Eclipse IDE for Multiple Architectures | NXP Semiconductors

If you are using DSC series, please refer to the doc "INSTALL-CODEWARRIOR-DSC" attached. To be noted that replace "Update 3" with "Update 4" in the document.

thanks for your the quick reply.

For years we have been using the “Special Edition” of the “CodeWarrior® for MCUs (Eclipse IDE)” (https://www.nxp.com/design/design-center/software/development-software/codewarrior-development-tools/downloads:CW_DOWNLOADS) for the Device Family Qorivva and the Board MPC5606B.

According to the documentation, there is no update for Windows 11 yet.
The problem occurs with both the offline version and the online version of the installation file.

The Link for Update 4 doesn't work for me. I get the answer: "Our records indicate that you have previously requested an Evaluation version for this product. If you would like to purchase the full product please visit us at NXP or contact your sales representative.". But I am not using an evaluation version.

Is there also an update (4) for the Specion version and Quorivva?
