I'm trying to set up a new launch configuration for my current project - it only has one for USB Multi-link connection, and I want to set up USBDM as an option.

So, I go Project Settings>Run/Debug Settings>New Launch Configuration>New Connection>Hardware or Simulator Connection. I set my target to SU16 (I'm on a S08SU16). But then when I go to choose the connection type containing OSBDM, CodeWarrior crashes. I've made sure that I have the correct USBDM drivers installed and my cable has the latest firmware, I've reinstalled all the drivers/software/CodeWarrior, but it still crashes every time.

Is there a fix for this? My understanding was that OSBDM and USBDM are effectively the same thing, but either way this difference shouldn't cause the crash I thought?

Any help would be great

Thank you

I am not sure if codewarrior 10.7 supports the S08SU family

Can you try on Codewarrior 11.1

I have that configuration and it is working

regards

Vicente
