I have updated CodeWarrior 11.1 with these archives:

CW_MCU_11_1_Update1_191113
CW_MCU_11_1_Update3_200717
com.freescale.mcu11_1.DSC_MC56F81xxx.win.sp.v1.0.17

but there is still no support for creating a 'New Stationery Project' with MC56F81748 in DSC56800EX_Quick_Start_r2.7.
How do I update with support for MC56F81xxx?
Or is it possible to select a compatible MCU in the 'New Stationery Project' wizard and use it for MC56F81748?

Hi,

it looks as if the most recent version 2.7.1 of QuickStart / GCT (available on https://www.nxp.com/products/processors-and-microcontrollers/additional-mpu-mcus-architectures/digital-signal-controllers/16-bit-56800e-dsc-core/dsc-quick-start-initialization-and-development-tool:DSP56800EQUICKSTART?tab=Design_Tools_Tab) is only supporting the 82, 83 and 84-variants of the DSC family, and support for the 81-variants is still missing.

NXP,
when will the support for the 81-family be added to "Quick Start"?
Is there a beta version or patch available?

Due to supply and delivery problems, we have to migrate our code to the 81-variant and therefore this topic has a very high priority for us.

I have asked the AE and marketing team for the plan of updating quickStart tools so that it can supports MC56F81xxx.

I will post the reply here once I get feedback.
