I have download this CodeWarrior f. MCU v.11.1. and want to use it to program an 8.bit nxp controller.

I still need to do something to use this software. I have not started it yet because I do not have a development board yet.

What should I do? Do I have to register the software and how?

Hello Gerd Meinert,

Thanks for contacting our technical support, I will serve for you.

There are four CW licenses: Special, Basic, Standard, Professional. About detail please refer to

CW suites quick reference guide, I attach if for you.

When just download and install, by default, it can used as Professional version in 45 days, after that,

it will change to Special version.

If the Special version can meets your requirement, you needn't to anything, just ignore that information.

If can't . you can refer to your needs to buy CW license.
