CodeWarrior for MCU中的主题 Drive a 7-segment LED directly from a S08P MCU

I am new to Codewarrior . Due to their demise I need to migrate a number of designs from LPC9XX devices to, in one case, a S08P4 (20-pin). I need to to drive a 7-segment LED directly from a S08P MCU, but the ports are not wide enough. Is there a way of "creating" a 7-bit wide port? Before anyone suggests it, I cannot use a larger device or peripheral hardware.
