But there is a problem with some ASM directives like the directive BYTES or EQU .&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The assembler makes errors :&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Quote:&lt;BR /&gt;A16201 : Not a mnemonic or directive&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Is this error normal ? Is there any solution to avoid these errors ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Simon BRIZARD&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp; Posted: Jul 16, 2004 - 08:49 AM&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Did you activate compatibility with ST assembler syntax.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Make sure you are assembling with option -ST (STMicroelectronics Assembler Compatibility Mode).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You can adjust assembler options the following way:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- Open the target setting dialog (Press ALT + F7)&lt;BR /&gt;- Go to Assembler for ST7 Panel&lt;BR /&gt;- Enter the option "-ST" in the Command line&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Best Regards&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;mw_cbezy&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;DIV&gt; &lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
