Hi Carlos,

thanks for the reply. All connections are as in the picture.

I think I have understood the mistake. In fact the person who did schematic (and board) has used pin PTB0 as functional pin (reading a pulse coming back form fan, to detect its working). I will manage to modify this.

I still have a question:

I have cyclone pro configured (through switches) to provide power and clock to the board when programming it. Should I change this behaviour to debug the sw while normal working ?

Regards,

Paolo Martinelli

Hello,

I am trying to debug SW using CodeWarrior 63SE, Cyclone PRO and a board (with MC908JL16 on it).

I cannot connect to the board when running. The connection between Codewarrior and the micro is done as in attached doc.

I use IP connected Cyclone (the connection works with programming tool).

It is my first time, so I do not know how to proceed.

I start debugger from Codewarrior.

Any help ?

Regards,

Paolo Martinelli

I have another issue. I am not able to use USB when debugging. Only available ethernet connection. Is it correct ?

The Cyclone is connected through USB cable and this connection works with PROG08SZ tool. It does not with codewarrior.

Regards,

Paolo
