Hello,

I have CodeWarrior 7.2 for MCU running inside a WindowsXP VirtualMachine (virtualbox).

I'm trying to start a Debug session on a M52233DEMO board which has its own BDM on the demo board.

Right now, when I start the Debug session I have the following error (see attached image):

writeaddressreg error. writecontrol 6145 0x20000000 failed.

Does anybody know what could cause this error / message ?

I found the solution while going over the project Settings !

Indeed, my project properties for the "CF Debugger Settings" were for the wrong MCU target. (5208 vs 52233).

Once I changed it from the from the project Settings (ALT+F7), then the Debug session was working perfectly !

Sorry for the noise... maybe it will help somebody.
