    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi David,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The configuration can be linked to the project (all files included), folder or specific to a file.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If the properties is opened when the project is selected you will open the Project Properties.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If the properties is opened when a file is selected, you will open the file properties.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The File properties is applied on file only whereas the project properties is applied on all files included in the project.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you open the file properties and click on "Restore Defaults" the options defined in the project properties will be applied.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you've a specific Folder properties (different to project) when "Restore Defaults" is applied on file the options defined in the project are used.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hope this will answer your question&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Have a great day,&lt;BR /&gt;Pascal&lt;BR /&gt;Freescale Technical Support&lt;BR /&gt;-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------&lt;BR /&gt;Note: If this post answers your question, please click the Correct Answer button.
