Import file with CW without overwrite existing source

I'm always using the Import -> File systeme to add in my project part of file from other project ! But this method don't make a copy and overwrite the existing source when I change something on it !

What is the best way to do the same ?

i just tried import feature i didn't see any problem.

can you post your step by step screenshot so that we can see how the problem was happened?
