Cannot establish a connection with a license server

I'm working remote from Mexico and I get this error 'Cannot establish a connection with a license server' when i try to flash my hardware with my newly created code.

I have a good Cisco VPN connection to my companys network where the license server is.
I have direct access to the company network drive.
I have a valid license.dat file that is good for 600 some more days.
The license.dat file is in the correct and proper place on my PC, it worked before I hit the road.
I running CodeWarrior 10.5

Question: Can anyone see any reason why this will not work while I'm in Mexico?

Try the port-daemon@host environment variable.
