Regarding software license issue

Hello Team, I have installed CodeWarrior version 11.2 for my DSC MC56F83783. Do I need a license for flashing and debugging? Additionally, I am unable to see the debugger settings during the debugging process. Could you please assist me with this?

If you’d like, you can obtain a license here — it’s free of charge.

I am unable to see the debugger settings during the debugging process.

->> You need open "Debug Configurations":

Do I need to apply the license.dat file anywhere?

->> It should be located in the C:\Freescale\CW MCU v11.2\MCU directory.

Then restart CodeWarrior, open Help -> Freescale License, and you will be able to see its status.

Also, if the device enters secure mode, how do I erase it in CodeWarrior?

->> You can use flash programmer to erase the device with checking "Unprotect flash memory before erase":

For more information about flash programmer tool, you can refer to Program DSC with CodeWarrior for MCU ver11.x.

And how to generate the .pmpx in the codewarrier?

->> Codewarrior can't generate the .pmpx. It's generated by Freemaster. Please refer to FMSTERUG for more details.
