CodeWarrior Development Studio For Freescale HC12 v5.1 Error with License.dat file

Hi,

I'm migrating my computer to Windows 11.

For using CWS12v5.1, I take my license.dat file used previously on my old windows 8.1 computer but I have an issue at the compilation step (limitation error) as if the license file is incorrect. (See attached picture)

Any suggestions to solved it ?

This issue can happend for two reasons,

the software as installed inside the program 86 folder, Windows 10 or 11 remove admin rights to CodeWarrior inside this folder pelase unisntall and install in the C dirive on a new folder created by you.
the version of CW is not the professional and it has a code limitation. what version of CodeWarrior did you purchsed?

I had installed the software at "C:\Freescale\CWS12v5.1".

I use the "CodeWarrior Development Suite - Standard Edition, Perpetual Model" with USB Dongle hosting.

As it was suggerred in your previous email "RE: NXP support case: #00634464: “[Community] CodeWarrior Development Studio For Freescale HC12 v5.1 Error with License.dat file”: Project “”", I had finally generated the license file with my Disk Serial Number and it’s work.

Donge license are no longer supported on Windows 10 or 11 pleas generate a new license with the MAC address of the computer. please see video below:
