I am using a free code to restrict the version,Why is there a license time limit?I use the version is Special Edition: CodeWarrior^® for Microcontrollers 10.7 (Eclipse, Offline)^{(REV 10.7)}

Hello Peter,

You probably installed a CodeWarrior Evaluation version of the installer which basically includes 30 day full feature license (Professional Edition). As soon as this evaluation period expires the license should automatically switch to Special Edition - permanent but feature limited.

You can do a quick check to confirm my hypothesis - check if the license.dat file exists here:

c:\Freescale\CW MCU v10.7\MCU\license.dat

No license = Special Edition

License.dat = Evaluation Edition
