Problem CW4.6 and dongle under Mode XP

We have a problem with CW4.6 under Mode XP. We had already installed it on others computers and it works well.

Now we try to install it on a new computer and with have problems.

The dongle id is correctly seen under Flexlm.

But when we run CW, with have the following error:

No valid license key was found..... Invalid host
The hostid of this system does not match the hostid specified in the license file

Feature: Win32_CWIDE_Limited

Hostid: FLEXID=X-XXXXXXXXX (which is the first flexid number which support the feature Win32_CWIDE_Limited in the license file).

The dongle that I try to use doesn't the feature Win32_CWIDE_Limited but Win32_CWIDE_Unlimited and it works on an other computer with the same license file.

Does anyone can help us?

Hi,

Is there a specific error code related to this error. Could you possibly attache the screenshot of the error?

Can you also check what is the value of the system variable "LM_LICENSE_FILE". Just type "set LM_LICENSE" into Windows terminal.

This info will help us to resolve this issue.

Perhaps its also related to a USB dongle driver issue.
