CWP-Basic-FL License period confirm

Hello Codewarrior support, we are NXP disti in Taiwan, we order CWP-Basic-FL and got it in Dec/B, this is base on order SO#AO1642XU, end customer inquired that after they registed the registration confirmation show the period is " Annual" as following pic, as we know the CWP-Basic-FL should be "Perpetual". Please help to check this issue. Thank you.

Hello,

You indeed own the perpetual CodeWarrior suite.

Expiration date does not mean the license itself will expire.

It's about support certificate which will expire in a year beginning with registration date.

During this period you can download any new product version that could be released and you get the license.

There is an easy check if a license issued for this CW suite is perpetual:

Open license.dat in a text editor and check if license feature strings contain "permanent" keyword.

if so it cannot expire.
