Hi,

We are attempting to migrate an embedded project that was written for the MC1322X using SMAC and RTOS in IAR to the new KW2 platform using Codewarrior. I'm not much of a coder, but the task has fallen to me at least initially and I don't have enough experience to make proper progress on it.

I have achieved running the SMAC Connectivity Demo on top of FreeRTOS on the KW2 in Codewarrior, so now it seems it's "just" a matter of porting the IAR application or so my manager says. However, since the new version is using Processor Expert, I'm not sure where the abstraction level needs to end and how much of the old code needs replacing as opposed to adapting.

If anyone has any tips as to the best way of approaching this kind of port, I would appreciate pointers or advice.

Sincerely,

Rafael Send
