Enable C99 on Codewarrior 10.6

Good morning,

I would like to enable C99 for CW 10.6 v. I use the micro mc9s08ac32, I looked in the manual and used the directive both ‘#pregma c99 on’ and ‘#define EWL_C99 1’, in both cases I found no success.

I probably need to enable it from the settings, but I couldn't find any option to enable it. I went to properties>C/C++ Build>Tool settings but i didn't see about C99, only HS08 compiler.

Could you give me some advice?

Hello Transidico,

HCS08 compiler Compliants with C90 standards. C99 is not supported.

Good morning, thank you for your kind reply.
I would be interested in using the C99 somehow for this micro, is there no way I can use it?
I understand that the compiler does not support it, is there no other compiler that is compatible?

If I install CodeWarrior 11.1v does it not support C99? Or is there not something that converts C99 to C90 for me?

Unfortunately CodeWarrior v11 also C90 compliance.

So far NXP doesn't have an IDE for HCS08 supporting C99.
