&lt;P&gt;Are you using the OSBDM (S08JM60) on the&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;S08PT60-EVK&amp;nbsp; to program the PT16 in another board?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;please that you set all the boards to the same GND.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I do not have the PT16 but if I create a sample for the PT16 using the&amp;nbsp;S08PT60-EVK I do not have a problem debugging it&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Yes, I probed with&amp;nbsp;the PT16 mounted in other board (a prototype board), with the micro only connected to prove flashing and debug (without other connection) and at least 4 different PT16 microcontrollers.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Please add a pull-up resistor on the reset pin of the pt16&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Also, you can check if this pin goes low when you try to program the device&lt;/P&gt;
