I am attempting to program the boot flash on a MPC8543 PowerPC based switch that was corrupted during a firmware upgrade...

I am unable to execute the target task to program the flash because the execute task button is not enabled (it is grayed out).

By turning on logging I see that the probe is passing self test and is able to scan the JTAG bus and see the processor, however it is reporting the following error:

      coreh = [serverh:0;cc_index:0;chain_pos:0]

      mode = 4

      ccs_core_run_mode; ccs_error = 5

      Error message: Core not responding

Any help would be appreciated. In searching for answers I see that others have encountered this message, however even though some have marked the issue as solved, they have not posted the solution...
