Hi, Yury,

Regarding your questions, you can use the debugger features to save the data in memory into a file in binary or text with S19 format. You can use any file name, but the extension name should match with the data format. The start address can be any value, I am not sure the maximum size you can transfer, you have to try.

Hope it can help you

BR

Xiangjun rong

I need to make a copy of the working chip program that would be transferred to another chip. With CodeWarrior Development Studio for 56800 / E Digital 8.3 (Windows 7), I want to save - Menu "Debug" -> "DSP56800" -> "Load / Save Memory". Specify the memory type, start address, size, destination filename, and file format (S-rec ...). Question-What start address and what file size should I specify for P and X memory, if I see data size larger than those specified in the data shirt when viewing the memory?
