Hi yang,

SRecCvt is a tool to convert linear format burning file ( .glo or .phy) to banked format .s19 file or vice versa.

CodeWarrior generates s19 file for each successful build. there is no problem use S19 file to burning flash under CodeWarrior.

But some programming tool such as P&E programmer only supports linear format burning file. Thus in order to use P&E programmer, we need to use SRecCvt tool to convert s19 file to linear format.

P&E programmer 是烧写器，自身不产生烧写文件。

P&E programmer 支持线性的phy格式文件，不支持banked格式的s19文件。

如果选用P&E programmer 做烧写器，就要把s19转成banked才能用。

1)我想用Bootlaoder来擦出P-Flash的方式更新程序(Codewarrior编译产生的S19文件),是不是需要将S19文件格式转换成全局地址格式（即Linear格式）？

2）codewarrior编译成的S19文件是Banked格式嘛？

用bootloader更新pflash的程序，不是一定要转s19文件格式。只要bootloader 程序可以解析s19就可以，取决于bootloader是怎么编的。
