Control a CodeWarrior TAP via a GDB server?

Hallo,

we are using a NXP evaluation board T1042D4RDB (QorIQ T1042 processor). To debug this board we are using a CodeWarrior TAP. Is it possible to control this TAP via GDB (and not via the CodeWarrior Development Studio)? Does NXP provide a GDB server to control this TAP?

Please refer to the following information regarding CodeWarrior TAP gdb debug.

There is a step by step video guide about CodeWarrior TAP and GDB bringing up, please refer to

Board Level Bringup using CodeWarrior TAP an|NXP .

For GDB debugging, first please make sure gdbproxy starts in CodeWarrior TAP, please refer to the thread https://community.freescale.com/message/362363#362363.
