thank you for contacting community. what chip do you work with? your CW version: Start the IDE and click on Help | About Freescale CodeWarrior. Click on Installed Products.Save all info displayed into a txt file and post it here. thanks !

Are you starting with CodeWarrior v8.2 for DSC?

After installing it, you will find some example projects in the CodeWarrior directory, usually is:

C:\Program Files\Freescale\CodeWarrior\(CodeWarrior_Examples)

You can get more examples by creating a new project from " DSP56000x EVM Examples Stationery " or "Processor Expert Example Stationery".

All of these examples will be good reference for your developing. You will understand how to start your own application after viewing these examples.

For how to use CodeWarrior, please view the documents in CW folder, usually is:

C:\Program Files\Freescale\CodeWarrior\Help

thanks. it was the right answer. now i need help to create a PWM-signal. so i can control a mosfet!
