Porting old HCS08 project to new PC.

Have existing CodeWarrior projects for the HCS08 and ColdFire family. I had previously two separate CW versions for this. Downloaded CW from your site, version 6.3 I believe, and am trying to load former project. Tried Open.. and looked for project file of former project (now residing on new PC hard drive). Can't seem to find the proper one. What is the name of project file and how can I ensure that I can load former project properly?

Hi,

CW6.3 project is with extension .mcp.

we can check the project linker and build tool chain version in map file. see below example.
