CF Flasher windows 8

Good morning,
I have a question about flash programmer for Coldfire.

Up to now I use the CF Flasher with Windows XP.

But now I have a new PC with Windows 8.1 and the CF Flasher doesn't work because it can't initialize the BDM device which is the PE Multilink Universal.

Is there a version of the CF Flasher for Windows 8.1?

Or is there an alternative flash programmer for Coldfire (MCF52255) which runs in Windows 8.1 for the PE Multilink Universal?

Hello Mirko

Unfortunately the CFFlasher does not support Windows 8.1. It only works on Windows XP or 2000.

You can use the Flash Programmer in CodeWarrior v10.6.4. CW10.6.4 can be downloaded from:

To program Coldfire in CW10.6.4 IDE, you may create a Target Task for flash programmer, or use the 'Flash File to Target' feature.
