Codewarrior 10.5 licensing

I am using Code Warrior 10.5 for P4080DS. When I try to Run or Debug my application (via Run -> Run configurations or Run-> Debug configurations), I get a debugger licensing error.

I tried registering my product to generate an Appropriate license as well but the NXP website throws another error saying:

"The software licensing and registration system is currently experiencing an unexpected error. Please try again or contact technical support"

Please help me to fix the license issue.

Hi Rahul,

Just checked under your account and found the CWX-ARCHT-EX_xxxxx registration.

This is an evaluation which will expire the January 30, 2016.

To generate the license file I need you Disk ID vol C:.

Please provide me the DiskID.

I will send you am email including the license files.

Hi Pascal,

I am not sure what do you mean by disk ID. Are you referring to the hard disk UUID on which my Linux root is mounted?

If yes, this is what I get on my terminal:

/dev/sda1: UUID="de3229b4-7ea5-4bde-880c-c1c1d075a8c8" TYPE="ext4"

Rahul,

For linux we need the Ethernet address.

Q: How can I get the Ethernet Address from a Linux PC?

Launch a Terminal window
Run /sbin/ifconfig eth0
Copy the HWaddr string (12-digit value)

Sorry for the delay.

I've found some problem with the web license system in case of Eval registration.

I've reported the problem and it should be solved soon.

I've generated a license for you.

Rename the attached file to license.dat.

The license file includes CW for PA V10.5 windows & linux and Additional Architect Level Features (DDR, Serdes, ...)

The licensing issue is resolved with the file you attached in your last response.

Thank you so much for the help.

But I have into another problem regarding generation of AppTRK.elf.

I am following the steps mentioned in the following file, but I am getting some errors:

/CodeWarrior_PA_10.5.0/PA/PA_Tools/AppTRK/apptrk/INSTALL

Am I looking at the right files or do I need to generate AppTRK using bitbake?
