CodeWarrior license server migration

Hi,

I have to shortly migrate our CodeWarior license Server from Win. XP to our new license server Win. 7 (64Bit).

My question is, how can i transfer the license file from the old license serve. Can I simply copy it to the new license server or should I order a new one?

First, please rehost CodeWarrior tool and download its license from website, then following the document below to install the floating license:

To rehost the license, please log on Freescale’s website (www.freescale.com) with this email address. Please:

Log in to My Freescale using your registered member ID and password
Click on Software Licensing and support — page appears showing your currently licensed products
Select the CodeWarrior tool and version you are using.
Click on ‘License key’ tab for on the page for this tool, click on ‘Generate’ button to input the Host ID and generate license.
