XIRQ interrupt with visualization tool

Hello,

I am using CodeWarrior Development Studio for the S12(X), V5.1. I want to use XIRQ interrupt in simulation. So far I tried connecting Vxirq to a push button in the visualization tool and manipulating memory content of the address where Vxirq resides. However, I could not achieve creating an interrupt.

My question is, is it possible to create an XIRQ interrupt without using the physical board.

What you experienced is normal.

CodeWarrior v5.x full chip simulator can simulate irq without board but can't simulate xirq.
