CW 7.1 Debug problem

Hi team!

I'm using CodeWarrior 7.1 with a full licence.

My code compiles, but when I'm trying to open the Flash Programmer (by hitting Debug), IDEAuxiliaryResources.dll (v5.9.0, build 3024) pops a message saying: "Can't find executable file %s. It may need to be rebuilt.". Can you tell me under which circumstances (why!?) does this message come up?

After verification the target MCU is: MCF5234CVM150 (FREESCALE SEMICONDUCTOR : IC MCU 32-BIT COLDFIRE MCF5234 V2CORE 64KSRAM MAPBGA-256)

The operating system is Vista 32 bits.

Hi Eric,

This CodeWarrior version has limited Windows Vista support, the latest classic version 7.2 does support Windows Vista 32-bit:

CodeWarrior® Development Tools for ColdFire®|NXP

You will need to follow the TN268 in order to migrate to CodeWarrior 7..2:
