CW4.1, DSP56F807, OCDemon Wiggler, XP cannot connect

I have an older product that was designed using CW4.1. I have to do some sustaining work on it and I did sustaining work on it several years ago.

However, I cannot get a connection using the parallel port OCDemon Wiggler.

Here's the steps I have taken so far:

Used a valid license file

Attached it to the parallel port

Made sure the parallel port is NOT in ECP mode

-- tried AT, PS\2, & EPP

Created a virgin XP PC with a native parallel port

Configured the project for Parallel Port - ADS or EVM

Configured the project for Flash Config File 56897_flash.cfg

Tried 4 different PC's

Tried 6 different Wigglers

Tried 3 different parallel port cables

Tried 3 target devices (3 of the product that I am trying to work on)

Any ideas?

Hi,

CW4.1 is an obsolete product of almost ten more years ago. NXP already stop supporting it.

I suggest you use CW8.3 instead.

indeed for DSP56807,our recommendation is CW8.3+ usb tap.
