internal error 2753. dpinst.exe 1

I have been tasked with supporting some legacy code. I attempted to install CodeWarrior Development Studio for S12(X) 5.1, which partially completed and then displayed an error dialog "internal error 2753. dpinst.exe 1". After closing the dialog the installation seemed to complete but the installation is non-functional. When I try to uninstall the behavior is the same : the uninstall seems to proceed normally but then the error dialog is displayed.

Note: I already had a licensed version of the PEmicro apps and drivers installed before attempting to install CodeWarrior, and they continue to work OK so those drivers seem OK.

1. What about your PC system ?

2. Please use the Windows admin right to install and open CW.

The PC exceeds the requirements you posted.

Running the installer as administrator did not fix the problem

Hello Paul,

Does your CW can work well now ?

If still can't , you can change to another PC, then compare the difference between two PCs.

Please download it in NXP website , also you can use the latest version CW v5.2 .
