Is it possible to import CW MCU 6.4 project in to CW MCU 10.6.4.

Because when I'm trying to import ".mcp " file, Its giving tool chain error.

Hi,

the file with extension .mcp is classic CW project file name.

CW10.6.4 only has CW for DSC Classic project importer, but doesn’t have other classic project importer.

With CW10.6.4, if it’s not DSC project, just follow below document to port classic CW to eclipse CW.

Hello Ankur

The Project Importer in v10.6 only supports DSC products.

For other products, the solution is to create a new bareboard project in CW10.6.4, and then add/copy all your source files to the new project. This is the cleanest way to import a project. Below is an application note for how to do this:
