hi~ every one~

i have a project that i try to read the memory in 56F803(digital signal controller) by 56800/e flash programmer.

but i can't not read the memory. however progremmer give me the message.

message: Could not write to the Program-RAM, this sally means the wrong configuration file was used.

but i checked configuration file over and over~ 56f803x_.cfg file used~ and i use hardware USBTAP

could you advice something about this problem?

Hi Chang,

56800E Flash Programmer only works for 56800E, and it doesn't not support 56800 product.

To program DSP56F803, please use CodeWarrior, or flash_over_jtag.

CodeWarrior v8.3 can be downloaded from:

It supports programming with USBTAP and Parallel.

flash_over_jtag is a command-line tool, however it does not support USBTAP.
