dont want to overwrite the flash while serial bootloader

Hi,

I'm sending serial bootloader program through JTAG to demo kit of MC56F8014 and S-Record through RS232. S-record overwrite the serial bootloader program in the FLASH. Every time I have to load the serial bootloader program, instead of i want to load serial bootloader only once. And whenever I want to load the SRecord it don't overwrite the FLASH where these serial bootloader is located.

please suggest me what to do, its urgent............

I'm using demo serial bootloader program

Hi,

The bootloader application is available on the installation folder:

\Stationery\Processor_Expert_Examples\Bootloaders

If you use an example delivered on the installation the bootloader should not be erased.

Please check the linker parameter file for th both project (bootloader and application).
