It's not clear to me what you're trying to do. You want to burn the program into Flash, but what is your debugger connection to the hardware? Are you trying to develop code, or just take an existing S-record file and load it into Flash?

---Tom

You should start a new thread when asking a question that uses a different processor.

Having said that, let me now try to answer your question. I am looking at the the CodeWarrior for Power Architecture 8.8 documentation. In the IDE User's Guide (CodeWarrior IDE 5.7 Windows's User Guide.pdf), Chapter 22, there is information on the flash programmer window. As its name suggests, you use this window to program the flash. On page 268, which describes the Prgram Verify panel, there is an option, File Type. This option lets you select the type of file you use as the data source for the programming operation. One of the supported choices is S-record. Consult the manual for more detail on how to set up this window for programming operations.

---Tom
