CodeWarrior for DSP56001

I am looking for an IDE for DSP56001 and it seems there are not many available to chose from due to the age of the processor. Is there a specific version of CodeWarrior that supports the DSP56001? Is there also an SDK available for this processor?

I am also discussing my option with Altium/Tasking but they said it is an EOL (End of Life ?) product so the support is minimum and we need to develop a ROM resident to work with debugger.

Hi,

I checked with a colleague.

DSP56001 is very old, and we don't have tool supporting this chip.

The suite56 only support DSP56300 family rather than DSP5600 and CodeWarrior for DSC only 56F8xx and 56F8xxx families.

If you are using DSP56001, we recommend you to ask help from Domain Tech,this is the website:
