I'm developing applications to automate builds and require a way to generate .mak files from the .mcp files that developers are creating and modifying. Is there a way to generate .mak files from .mcp files.

This is not for reverse engineering, but rather for automation. Most engineers like the Windows GUI, but for automation and releases we compile from Solaris command line and thus require .mak files - unless the Solaris compiler can actually take the .mcp files which could be another solution.
