I know a lisense of codewarrior is to lock a lisense with MAC and Hardisk lable. The first question is if I want to buy such a lisense, do I need to offer my MAC&HardLable at the same time? Or, they are only needed at the register and activity moment? The second question is if my lisense machine is lost or have a hardware problem, how can I use another machine to replace the lisense one?
Hope I describe questions clear.
Thank you

Yes, in principle.

After in particular cases I don't know...

Otherwise that would be far too easy!
I would say I lost my computer every month and re-sell licenses on the Internet !

There is also an option of buying floating licenses.
This way, you have a server which only gives the license when a computer uses the software.
It's a way to share a license between computers.

Alban.
