      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hello&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;From SDOS Concept manual "Memory manager supports allocation of memory from different memory sections using&lt;BR /&gt;the osMalloc() function. Note that SmartDSP OS doesn't support an equivalent&lt;BR /&gt;osFree() function and therefore allocated memory is never really released".&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You may want to look at the Buffer Management feature and the osMemPart and osmemBlock functions.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This allows you to allocate a buffer and then get and free part of this buffer.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;CrasyCat&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
