Hi:

I want use the CW do a design on the coldfire platform, could you tell me what is the difference between CW6.2 and CW7.1? if I want to migrate the software from CW6.2 to CW7.1, what things should I consider?

Hello

- Which CPU are you targeting (HC08, HC12, Coldfire, ..)
- Which version of CodeWarrior are you using?
To retrieve that info:
- Start CodeWarrior
- Select Help -> About Freescale CodeWarrior
- Click on "Install Products"
- CodeWarrior version used is displayed on top in the Installed Products dialog.

CPU: MFC5485 (ColdFire)

CW version: old 6.2, new 7.1

I want to imigrate the old code to CW7.1

Find attached the high level release notes for all intermediate release between V6.2 and V7.1.

For more detailed information you can check the .txt files located in V7.1 "Release_Notes" directory.
